Who am I?
I’m a therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults, with a special passion for supporting neurodivergent clients as they navigate a world that isn’t always designed for the way their brilliant brains work. I specialize in working with ADHD, Autism (Level 1), AuDHD, sensory processing differences, anxiety, depression, and the challenges that often come alongside them—including executive functioning difficulties, relationship and friendship concerns, school or college stress, life transitions, self-esteem, and identity development.
My therapy style is warm, creative, and deeply relational, with an emphasis on nervous system awareness and the ways emotions and trauma can show up in the body. I focus on creating a space where clients can bring their full selves—messy, magical, uncertain, and everything in between—without fear of judgment. Whether we're building emotional awareness through play, noticing body cues and nervous system responses, exploring difficult experiences through conversation, or learning practical coping skills, my goal is always the same: to help each person feel seen, understood, and more connected to themselves.
Previous Work Experience
My journey to becoming a therapist started in the classroom. I began my career as an elementary school teacher and quickly realized that what I loved most wasn't teaching math—it was helping kids understand their emotions, navigate relationships, and build resilience. That realization led me to pursue graduate training focused on the relational aspects of therapy, blending emotional development with meaningful human connection.
After earning my degree, I worked as a school-based therapist, partnering closely with teachers, families, and school staff to create trauma-informed classrooms and develop supportive behavior strategies. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of child and adolescent development while reinforcing something I continue to see today: whether someone is 8 or 22, we all benefit from feeling safe, understood, and accepted as we grow through life's challenges.
Today, I bring that same collaborative, relationship-centered approach to every stage of development, supporting children, teens, and young adults as they build confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate the unique challenges of growing up.
Why I do what I do
I believe that when people feel safe enough to be themselves, they're able to grow in incredible ways. Whether I'm working with a child learning to name big emotions, a teenager discovering who they are, or a young adult navigating life's next chapter, my goal is to create a space where they feel genuinely seen, supported, and accepted.
Therapy isn't about "fixing" people. It's about helping them better understand themselves, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience. For younger clients, that also means partnering closely with parents and caregivers, because meaningful change happens both inside and outside the therapy room.
My hope is that every client leaves therapy knowing they don't have to change who they are to be worthy of belonging. They simply deserve the support, understanding, and encouragement to become more fully themselves.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, spending time in the mountains, cooking or baking something cozy, playing games with my husband, or hanging out with my two very opinionated cats.
